It is a privilege to be the Headteacher of Bloemfontein Primary and Nursery School and to lead such a dedicated team of staff who work tirelessly to ensure that every child is happy, safe and successful.
At Bloemfontein, we believe that every child is unique. We take time to get to know our children as individuals, celebrating their strengths, nurturing their talents and supporting them to achieve their very best, both inside and outside the classroom.
As a proud Birth to 11 school, we are privileged to support children and families throughout their early years and primary education journey. From their first experiences of school through to their transition to secondary education, we strive to provide the care, encouragement and challenge needed for every child to flourish.
Our school is built upon our HEART values of Honesty, Empathy, Aspiration, Respect & Resilience, and Teamwork. These values underpin everything we do and help us create a caring and inclusive environment where children feel valued, develop confidence and learn the importance of making a positive contribution to their community.
We are fortunate to have extensive outdoor grounds that enrich children's learning experiences. Whether exploring our woodland area, building dens or nurturing plants in our greenhouse and growing beds, children are encouraged to develop curiosity, independence and resilience through meaningful opportunities beyond the classroom.
At the heart of our school are strong partnerships with families and the local community. We value the support of our parents and carers and believe that, by working together, we can provide the very best opportunities for our children.
