Early Years

The Best Start for Every Child

At Bloemfontein Primary School, our Early Years Unit lies at the heart of our Birth to 11 provision. We believe that every child deserves a nurturing, inspiring and joyful start to their learning journey, where they feel safe, valued and encouraged to flourish.

Guided by our HEART values and driven by our vision of Strong Foundations, Big Hearts and Bright Futures, we create an environment where children develop confidence, curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.

From our Baby Room through to Reception, we provide a seamless learning journey that supports every stage of children's development. Through high-quality interactions, purposeful play and carefully planned learning experiences, children are encouraged to explore, discover and grow at their own pace while building the knowledge, skills and character they need for future success.

Our experienced Early Years team works closely with families to ensure every child feels happy, secure and ready to thrive. Together, we create strong foundations that help children become confident, resilient and enthusiastic learners.

We warmly invite you to explore our Early Years provision and discover how we help every child belong, thrive and achieve from the very beginning.

Our Early Years Unit provides a seamless pathway from birth to five years, ensuring children experience continuity, consistency and strong relationships throughout their early education.
